IT Channel Manager
(National Capital Reg - Makati City)


Responsibilities:

Our client is the Philippine office of an international IT company that has evolved to become one of the world’s largest software companies, with more than 18,500 employees in more than 50 countries. They provide security, storage and systems management solutions to help customers secure and manage information-driven world against more risks at more points, more completely and efficiently than any other company.

The candidate shall report directly to the Country Manager and shall have the following responsibilitities:
Manage all facets of business relationship between the company and Auhtorized Channel
Work with appointed distributors in the development of reseller community and overall channel business
Recruit, enable and motivate channel partners to cover all market sectors
Strategize, plan for and execute partner enablement/training activities
Drive regular business review and planning meetings with distributors and managed partners
Work with channel to engage in proactive sales opportunity generation activities
Develop managed partners to sell/promote more complex/higher value solutions
Manage "line of business" in line with quota and goals per managed partner
Understand the business and develop product and channel promotions to generate revenue
Encourage early sales engagement between managed partner and company sales team
Manage channel conflict in the most efficient and effective manner
Provide weekly forecast sales potential from distributors and managed partners



Requirements:

More than 7 years experience working within the local IT channel ecosystem
Proven track record in developing partners towards predefined goals
Has an established network of contacts within the IT channel that can be leveraged to enhance the revenue generation for the company
Exhibits sufficient commercial acumen, credibility and presence to enable effective relationship building, influencing and instilling confidence at all business levels within the partner
Familiar with technologies surrounding the web and enterprise security management
Experience in both tactical and strategic selling and comfortable in negotiating commercial deals
Has undergone formal sales training and familiar with complex solution selling
Strong problem solving skills
