Writer/ Blogger

Responsibilities:

• Writes at least four quality blog entries per day, based on a specified style and format, and backed by research
• Brainstorm with the company’s topnotch team of writers and editors on a regular basis

• On occasion, attends press conferences and events, conduct interviews, travel, and supervise photo shoots

Requirements:
We are looking for talented and knowledgeable writers/ journalists who can produce a daily stream of creative, original, and well-researched articles on various topics for a global audience.

Highly motivated individuals with topnotch writing skills and relevant experience in online and print publications are encouraged to apply. Candidates must be Internet-savvy and possess current, up-to-the-minute knowledge in any or some of the following fields: Entertainment/ Sports/ Technology/ Lifestyle/ Luxury/ Cars/ Video Games/ Fashion/ Charity or Humanitarian Issues/ Travel/ Science/ Business.

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism, Masscom, Media, Creative Writing, or any other related courses
• Must have published works online (apart from personal blogs) and/or in print
• With working knowledge of various aspects of new media (ie. email, web browser, blogs, social networks, etc.)
• Proficient in using blogging software (ie. Wordpress, Blogger, etc.)
• Knows how to write for an international audience
• Knows how to edit own articles in an online/offline setting
• Must be a team player who can handle the pressure of daily deadlines
• Must be self-motivated, highly organized, and detail-oriented
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills (knowledge of other languages a plus)
• Willing to work in a regular office environment with a team of editors and writers.
• At least 2 year(s) of experience as a blogger or writer for print
