CLINICAL SECRETARY
Responsibilities:

Perform secretarial duties utilizing specific knowledge of medical terminology and hospital, clinic, or laboratory procedures. Duties include scheduling appointments, billing patients, and compiling and recording medical charts, reports, and correspondence.

Requirements:

• Graduate of Medical (Nursing, Medicine, Medical Science, Pharmacy/Pharmacology, Psychology) and/or Business (Business Administration, Management) degree or any related course from a reputable university.
• Proficient in MS Office applications.

Qualifications:

• Well organised
• Good attention to detail to manage complex work
• Good communication skills to deal with patients and relatives in a sympathetic way and be able to cope with the emotional strain
• Good keyboard skills and be confident using technology
• Able to work as part of a team and on your own initiative
• Good concentration - you'll get lots of interruptions in the course of the day
• Discretion (all medical information is confidential)
• Willing to work in St. Luke’s Medical Center Global City
