POSITION TITLE: Finance Controller
PURPOSE OF THE POSITION
The Controller is responsible for maintaining financial, accounting, administrative and
personnel services. The position holder will be directly reporting to the President/Chairman.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Administer and monitor the financial system in order to ensure that the company's finances are maintained in an accurate and timely manner
Main Activities:
Implement financial policies and procedures
Establish and maintain cash controls
Establish, maintain and reconcile the general ledger
Monitor cash reserves and investments
Prepare and reconcile bank statements
Prepare income statements
Prepare balance sheets and monthly financial statements
Prepare quarterly reports and report on variances
Assist with the annual audit
Maintain the computerized accounting system
Maintain financial files and records
Oversee the accounts payable and accounts receivable systems in order to ensure complete and accurate records of all money
Perform other related duties as required
QUALIFICATIONS:
Must be a graduate of BS Accountancy
Should be a Certified Public Accountant
Must have 5-10 years experience in Preparation of Financial Statements, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Auditing and other Accounting Functions.
Experience in working in Retail/Apparel industry is preferred.
Must have excellent leadership and supervisory skills
Must have excellent organizational and time and stress management skills
Must demonstrate sound work ethics
