PROGRAMMER
National Capital Region- Mandaluyong City
Responsibilities:
The Programmer shall be directly reporting to the Systems Development Team Leader in developing customized business software for the company.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
• Prepares functional requirements, technical design and program specifications based on users’ requirements and approved standard procedures.
• Codes, edits, tests, and debugs programs based on users’ requirements.
• Ensures that programs are prepared according to specifications.
• Discusses necessary modifications or revisions enhancement regarding their computer programs.
• Plans pre-implementation requirements such as user training and conversion.
• Prepares systems documentation for system users and User Guide Manual for system implementers.
Requirements:
• Candidate must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or any other related field form a reputable university.
• At least 1 year extensive experience in developing web-based business applications.
Relevant Competencies:
• Applied knowledge of Microsoft Visual Studio 2005/2008, Microsoft SQL Server 200/2005.
• Possess hands-on development and coding competencies like Visual Studio and T-SQL.
• Knowledge in XML, AJAX, XHTML, ASP.NET C#, CSS and Visual Basic 6.
• Import/ Export/ data integration (MS Excel, MS Access, Text Files).
• Analytical and has strong attention to detail.
• Team player, flexible, dedicated, and committed to a long-term professional relationship.
