Job Responsibilities

• The QA TESTER (Junior) will be responsible for QA Testing on the company’s different projects. The ideal candidate will ensure that the company’s solutions are delivered with the highest possible level of quality.
• Prepares comprehensive test scripts by understanding the application requirements and coordinating with Project Managers, Business Analysts, and other project team resources
• Prepares test data prior to actual testing
• Provides advice to the project team on the QA Process and Requirements
• Executes test according to plans/scripts and records defects
• Provides feedback and recommendation (resolution and preventive action) to the development team on defects detected in the testing through defect verification meeting
• Monitors test results and provide status and any testing related issues to the project team
• Leads QA Testing projects at times
• Provides post-deployment testing support

Job Qualifications

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s/College Degree in Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication), Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent
• Candidates must have At least 2 years hands-on experience in software application testing or Quality Assurance
• Experience with testing tools and methodologies. Experience with HP Testing Tools and Visual Studio Testing Suite is a plus
• Experience with writing and running standard test scripts is a plus
• Experience with automated testing (at least one – Win runner, Load Runner, Test Director, Quick Test Pro, etc.), manual testing, testing cycles and testing types is an advantage
• Experience in Functional and Regression Testing
• Knowledge of three-tier architecture with SQL back-end
• Good understanding of Software Development Life Cycle, Quality Assurance Testing and Testing Life Cycle
• Strong communication skills (oral and written), attention to details and able to work independently
• Ability to formulate a problem clearly and logically
• Willing to work on a Sundays for the Post Deployment Testing
• Full time/ Permanent positions available
• Willing to work in Taguig City
