Job Description:
• Creating and managing virtual project teams. Deliveries may be one of the ff:
- large scale process reengineering and technology projects
- non technology LEAN process reengineering projects
• Responsible for all status reporting, day-to-day project issues and risk management and financial management and reporting.
• Understanding over-arching programme and functional strategy and ensuring project goals are aligned
• Developing tools, templates, and methodologies when needed
• Defining and establishing appropriate governance structures and processes
• Defining and acquiring appropriate specialist skills (application architecture and principles)
• Defining and implementing an appropriate stakeholder management strategy.
• Building strong "trusted partner" relationships with all major stakeholders.
• Developing and managing risk strategies to exploit opportunities and benefits.
• Managing large high performance "model" teams (50+) of different skills and abilities across functional boundaries and sites by procuring and organizing resources effectively against tasks
Qualifications:
• Must have a working knowledge of L&C, coupled with a desire to challenge and improve current processes
• Must have an excellent ability to network and reach across regional and cultural boundaries.
• Seen as an expert at using and developing appropriate delivery methodologies for the most complex projects including using specific sophisticated frameworks such as RUP .XP
