The web developer (UI) will produce and create web pages, as well as related XHTML, CSS and JavaScript code, publish content online that fits project requirements and adhere to content and design guidelines as well as established industry standards and best practices.
Skills required:
- HTML (various versions)
- CSS (Various versions)
- Javascript/ Ajax
- Jquery
- XHTML/ HTML 5
- YUI Library
- Web Development Standards
- General knowledge on mobile development
- Development quality process (debuggers, unit testing etc)
- BDE/Themes/ Skins/ Templates
- Adobe Development (Flash/Flex/ Actionscript)
- SQL Server
- .net framework
Tasks include but not limited to:
- Production of bespoke web UI code (HTML/CSS/JS) according to client requirements under the guidance of a web development lead
- Production of bespoke HTML/CSS code for use in the Group’s range of web content management systems
- Work with designers to convert web design into usable web-standard UI code
