Job Qualifications
• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s/College Degree in Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication), Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent
• At least 2-3 years experience running, staffing, and managing a web development team
• Required skill(s): PHP, Agile, MySQL, CSS, HTML (5), AJAX.
• Extensive Experience in MVC, Word press, Magento, and all common open-source technologies
• Experience with Java script frameworks such as J-Query, Dojo, Prototype, Scriptaculous
• Extensive experience in Ajax, DHTML, CSS, XML
• Can work with Tomcat and other application servers
• Has used Git in client projects
• Able to develop test scripts, with familiarity and test automation software a big plus
• Advanced understanding of object oriented programming and other structured programming principles
• Competent in Java script and the use of Java script frameworks (J-Query)
• Competent in the use of database systems primarily MySQL
• Competent in developing/deploying software in a Linux production environment (scripting, etc)
• Experience configuring Linux servers for optimal performance
• Extensive experience with data and server security
• Experience working on complex E-Commerce and database driven web applications
• Extensive experience debugging code and diagnosing problems in production systems
• Extensive experience in XML
• Experienced with creating high availability and scalable systems
• Demonstrated knowledge of version control tools (e.g. Git, CVS)
• Must be comfortable developing new systems as well as maintaining an existing legacy PHP web application.
• Has excellent problem solving and analytical skills
• Has skills in other languages considered an asset (Java, etc)
• Can work independently
• Must be fluent in English
• Demonstrable exceptional programming skills
• Able to take responsibility for all phases of software development and is comfortable with agile development methodologies
• Highly self-directed, a strong individual contributor, and a valuable team player
• Candidates must be willing to work in Quezon City
• Full time/ Permanent Position available
