Job Responsibility
• He/she must be able to manage projects and prioritize tasks with minimum supervision, as well as having good communication and interpersonal skills to relate well at all levels.
• The role is essentially a hands-on technical and consulting role with leadership responsibilities over IT helpdesk and call center IT support functions.
• The person is expected to lead a small IT support team in providing service and support for internal IT infrastructure, IP telephony call center, and telecommunication network. There may be some tasks in this role that will require extended stays in other sites worldwide.
• Oversee Asia IT helpdesk operation and general IT services
• Develop career and training paths for IT team
• Representative IT site support services group for managing IT users’ expectations
• Strategic position within the IT site support services group to ensure the effective implementation of corporate initiatives through a partnership with both IT and Business team members
• Liaison between the various business units and acquisitions to ensure proper visibility and execution of projects
• Understand, maintain and produce the Key Performance Indicators of Philippines call center business and Asia IT helpdesk operation, assess performance, identify and implement improvements as needed
Job Qualifications
• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s/College Degree in Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication), Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.
• Partners with management for the purposes of identifying and integrating improvement initiatives through technology that address business needs
• Experience in managing a call center environment as IT supervisor or manager is highly desired
• Project Management experience (at least 3 years)
• Establishes and maintains a close working relationship with all appropriate departments.
• Facilitate meetings and lead project initiatives
• Willing to perform shift rotation when required
• At least 7 years of strong end-users, IT system, infrastructure and call center support experience
• Strong hands-on knowledge with Windows active directory, network security, PABX, ASPECT contact center software, firewall, router configurations and Avaya IP telephony system is highly desirable
• Good understanding of business processes & technology interface challenges
• Proven ability to work in fast paced, self directed environment
• Having strong written and verbal communication skills, ability to relate well at all levels
• Having strong organizational and conflict resolution skills, and understands teamwork and collaboration with ability to coach, counsel & mentor others
• Execute the core disciplines on a daily basis
• Excellent professionalism
• Positive mental attitude
• Willing to work in Mandaluyong City
