Sr.Specialist Software Engineer - Makati , 130K – 144K
Position Responsibilities
1) Can complete coding independently based on requirements documents (FS and TS), and code complies with the programming standard, and have to be high efficient.
2) Can do testing independently, design UT cases and complete all kinds of test such as UT test, feature test, integration test, and document test results.
3) Document design document and technical specifications, UT test cases, and solutions implemented
4) Code corrections for identified or potential defects for new and existing releases of the software
5) Troubleshoot software issues
6) Ensure compliance to pre defined coding best practices to meet quality and timelines of delivery
7) Ensure adherence to processes as required by the project
8) Update the manager of the progress on module
9) Work closely with team members in a scrum team and business analyst(s) to establish the strong coordination to bring in the effectiveness in the delivery
10) Cooperate with global team to ensure well and on time support for software product
Mandatory Position Requirements
1) Master all aspects of java fundamentals such as OO programming, distributed computing, IO, network, multi-thread.
2) Master all aspect of J2EE.
3) Master of relational database.
4) Strong problem solving capability.
5) 5+ years’ Hands-on experience of software development
6) Strong English listening/reading/speaking/writing ability
Technical and Professional Skills:
1) Proficient with Tomcat or any other application servers.
2) Familiar with Eclipse IDE.
3) Familiar with Subversion or any other version control tool.
4) Knowledge of Test Driven Development using JUnit.
5) Knowledge of ORM framework such as iBatis.
6) Knowledge of Spring framework.
7) Knowledge of Oracle.
8) Knowledge of Ant or Maven build tool.
Desirable:
1) Experiences on financial system (example: core banking, trust, trading, etc.)
2) Experiences in scrum teamwork.
