Job Responsibilities
• Perform vulnerability assessments of Windows- and Unix/Linux-based systems, document findings and recommend risk mitigation strategies.
• Work with internal teams to achieve vulnerability and risk management objectives. Assist departmental technical support staff in identifying and implementing appropriate security safeguards.
• Assist in threat analysis and modeling; involving examination, analysis, documentation and assessment of internal and external threats to the business
• Produce metrics that represent the current state of information security related vulnerabilities and mitigating controls.
• Participate in analysis of system event logs, traffic flows and other data sources to identify malicious activity.
• Maintain workable knowledge and understanding of information security, risk management and regulatory compliance topics.

Job Qualifications
• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s/College Degree in Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication), Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent
• Candidates must have at least 3 – 5 years of experience in information security or related field is required
• Good grasp of information security fundamentals, risk management concepts, and strategy.
• Knowledgeable in conducting vulnerability assessments and risk analysis.
• Experience in installing, configuring, integrating and maintaining Security Event Information
• Knowledge in Management (SEIM) platforms
• Knowledgeable in security architectures.
• Good understanding of security frameworks and standards (e.g. ISO 17799, NIST 800-53).
• Maintains professional/technical certifications of information security knowledge (e.g. Security+, CEH, CISA, CISSP)
• Knowledgeable in security scanning tools including Nessus, Nexpose, Nmap and MBSA.
• Knowledge in the use and application of security controls for risk mitigation.
• Exceptional technical skills across a broad range of platforms and systems or extensive application development experience.
• Strong written and verbal communications skills.
• Solid business acumen
• Strong cross-functional team participant and collaborative approach to problem solving.
• Candidates must be willing to work in Alabang
