• Candidate must possess a Bachelor's/College Degree in Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication), Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.
• At least 5 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Good knowledge of Linux and Solaris operating systems.
• Familiarity with UNIX and its commands/utilities at a user level; can edit files, use a shell, find users' home directories, navigate through the filesystem, and use i/o redirection.
• Comfortable with most aspects of UNIX systems administration
• Scripting in one or more administrative languages (Tk, Perl, shell)
• A good understanding of a UNIX-based operating system
• Knowledge of all common RAID levels and experience with hardware and software RAID systems.
An understanding of project methodologies and project life cycles
